Vancouver dance enthusiasts, it’s time to lace up your shoes and get ready to groove! Rueda de la Vida, a local non-profit society, is bringing exciting, energetic and affordable Salsa and Bachata classes to the city. This fall, they are launching a three-week beginner series for two of the most energetic and captivating Latin dances. Whether you’re a complete beginner or simply want to sharpen your moves, this series is the perfect chance to dive into the world of partner dancing.
Event Details
The beginner Salsa and Bachata classes will run on Mondays: September 9, 16, and 23. Here’s how the schedule looks:
- 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM: Bachata
- 8:00 PM – 9:00 PM: Salsa
These progressive lessons are designed to introduce newcomers to the essentials of both dances, focusing on musicality, movement, and connection with a partner. And here’s the best part—there’s no need for a partner to sign up! The lessons are structured to ensure everyone has a chance to learn, practice, and connect with new dance friends along the way.
Pricing & Registration
Affordability is a big part of the charm of these classes:
- $30 for three classes (either Salsa or Bachata)
- $50 for six classes (both Salsa and Bachata)
Whether you opt for just Salsa or Bachata, or decide to dive into both, it’s an incredible deal for the quality of instruction you’ll receive. Plus, class sizes are intentionally kept small to ensure personalized attention, so it’s wise to register early and secure your spot!
