Health officials report six new cases of COVID-19 in Newfoundland and Labrador

ST. JOHN'S, N.L. — Newfoundland and Labrador is reporting six new cases of COVID-19 today.

Health officials say four new cases are in the Eastern Health region and that the Central and Western Health regions each have one new case.

Newfoundland and Labrador has 14 active reported cases of COVID-19.

There is one person in hospital with the disease.

Officials say anyone in the province, regardless of vaccination status, should get tested if they are experiencing even just one COVID-19 symptom.

They say COVID-19 testing data remains unavailable because of the October cyberattack that damaged the province's health-care IT infrastructure.
