New Brunswick health officials report ninth COVID-19 death at Edmundston care home
FREDERICTON — Health officials in New Brunswick are reporting another COVID-19-related death in the province today.
The death of a resident in their 70s at the Manoir Belle Vue long-term care home in Edmundston brings the number of COVID-19-related deaths in New Brunswick to 29.
The death is the ninth from COVID-19 at the Manoir Belle Vue.
The province also announced one new positive case that involves a person in their 60s in the Bathurst region and is travel-related.
The number of active cases in the province is 35, and three patients are hospitalized, including two in intensive care.
Since the onset of the pandemic, New Brunswick has had 1,460 cases of COVID-19.
