British Columbia's party leaders are delivering some last-minute messages to voters who go to the polls on Saturday. 

NDP Leader John Horgan has been campaigning in traditional B.C. Liberal ridings, telling voters that the province can't risk going back to a previous Liberal government that focused on tax breaks for the wealthy instead of spending on education, health care and transportation. 

Green Leader Sonia Furstenau says she expects the Greens will exceed everyone's expectations, just as the party did in finding candidates and generating donations since the election was called. 

Furstenau says the best result for democracy in B.C. would be that no single party has all the power with a majority government.

Liberal Leader Andrew Wilkinson says his party's proposal to get rid of the small business income tax would help the one-in-four businesses in B.C. that have reported they may not survive the pandemic. 

Elections BC says just under half of the 724,000 vote-by-mail packages requested have been returned, but the count by hand and voter confirmation means those ballots won't be tabulated for two weeks after the election.
