Nova Scotia health officials confirm one new, travel-related case of COVID-19

HALIFAX — Health officials in Nova Scotia are reporting one new case of COVID-19.

The latest case involves a person who travelled outside Atlantic Canada and was diagnosed while in isolation in Nova Scotia.

As of today, Nova Scotia has three active cases of COVID-19, one of which involves a person receiving treatment in an intensive care unit.

The province has recorded 1,089 positive COVID-19 cases, which include 65 deaths.

There have been 1,021 cases that are considered resolved.

Health officials say people in the province who have contracted the virus range in age from under 10 to over 90.
