How to read it
Each colour is Fry's share minus Sim's share of the mayoral votes counted at nearby voting places. Between stations, values are estimated by inverse-distance weighting: closer and busier stations count for more.
Results are tallied where people voted, not where they live. Busy downtown and advance stations draw voters from across the city, so the surface is a rough guide to neighbourhood lean, not a precinct map.
Mail ballots (17,079) and special voting (1,447) have no location and are left out. Citywide, including them, Fry won 98,748 to 67,598.
